Capt. Phil Gay founded East End Waterfowling in 1973 when he was just 19 years old. His father hunted waterfowl on the east end of Long Island from the early 1930’s and taught Phil to hunt waterfowl and call ducks and geese by the age of seven.
East End Waterfowling became the largest waterfowl outfitter in New York State and from the late 80’s through the early 90’s, parties of gunners took over 2000 ducks and geese a season. It became what the Eastern Shore once was, and clients would call from as far away as Hong Kong to book hunts with Capt. Phil.
East End Waterfowling’s farms and water blinds are located less than 2 hour drive from New York City, we shoot 7 days a week.
