Guide Charles Ireland is fourth generation to Southern Oregon and come from a long line of Salmon and Steelhead fisherman. Growing up on the South Umpqua River, fishing was second nature. He caught his first winter Steelhead at the age of seven and was rowing his own drift boat and running a powerboat on the Umpqua River and Rogue River by the age sixteen.
Charles became a licensed fishing guide a few years after graduating high school. Fishing has always been a true passion. He has over ten years experience guiding on Southern Oregon Rivers and has also spent time in Alaska guiding for Salmon and Halibut.
Charles is very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient and loves to share his passion for fishing with others. He holds and maintains a United States Coast Guard OUPV near coastal and 25 ton inland masters license. Charles is licensed through the Oregon State Marine Board, First Aid/CPR certified,
