We believe we offer not only the best trophy whitetail hunts in Canada but in all of North America. These are not “canned” or high fence hunts but are hunts for wild monarchs of the north. We are located in the fringe country – large expanses of brush to the north and farmland to the south. Our hunting area, where we are the only permitted outfitter, consists of approximately 130,000 acres and has long been recognized for producing the largest bucks in North America. Bucks with huge bodies and heavy chocolate horns that have survived many years in the wild, each day brings the opportunity that a true giant may step out of the bush.
We scout our areas thoroughly with the aid of trail cams to ensure we are placing our hunters in the best possible place to harvest their buck of a lifetime. Hunters willing to exercise patience have been rewarded with an almost 100% opportunity at a 140” gross or better buck. We typically harvest many deer in the 150’s and each season bucks scoring from 160″ to 180″ are taken by a lucky hunter. Our best buck to date was a 194” monster.
You will see deer when hunting with us – a slow day on stand will result in 4-6 bucks while some days hunters see over a dozen different bucks. We typically see a 50/50 ratio between bucks and does which intensifies the rut as the season progresses, typically peaking around the 10th of November. After the rut slows the mature bucks quickly turn their attention to adding body fat for the winter and some of the largest bucks are typically taken on the last hunts. The opportunity to photograph and or film unpressured deer as well as other wildlife while on stand is excellent providing lots of activity during the day and lasting memories. Our licenses are guaranteed so no need to worry about drawing a tag.
All of our hunts include lodging where you will be taken care of like family in a modern lodge facility with home cooked meals and maid service. We believe in hunting hard and then relaxing and reflecting on the day’s events with others in camp. We have made many lifelong friends through the camaraderie that is fostered in our camp.
